The development of game is began after the original H1Z1 was spun off into two separate projects in early 2016: H1Z1: You just survive and H1Z1: King of the kill.

These game is further split as separate project in October 2017, with just survive dropping the H1Z1 name, and also King of the Kill becoming the simply H1Z1.

Microsoft Window can be early access after three years, But this game is officially released as free-to-play game in February 2018. But they can later release in PlayStation 4 in August 2018. 1 month later however it was transferred to NantG Mobile, Who attempted to revert the game back to an earlier build from 2017, and This game is re-branding it as Z1 battle royale. The game Z1 is a Battle Royale game and in this game 100 (Hundred) players can participate in this match and also compete with against each other. This game is last man standing deathmatch. In this game, the player can play in solo, duo, and in a group of five, and with the goal of final person or final team remaining.

In this game, the player can start each match by parachuting in from a random location above the map. Once the players land on a place which they will decide and also they must search a way to defend themselves. Afterwards, they should find a thing grabbing a weapon and they can actively hunting other players.
